Left Track Pad has a very high temperature post replacement.
Hi guys! I recently water damaged my Steam Deck but it wasn’t anything too severe. I was able to clean it out thoroughly and after it worked perfectly fine apart from my left track pad. The pad had completely lost all vibration, it was essentially just a square that had no haptic feedback whatsoever. I ended up purchasing a replacement part from eBay, that I fitted and the vibration and feedback returned. However the feedback and vibration was very bipolar to say the least, sometimes it works sometimes it doesn’t, regardless of how it works though, it will reach very high temperatures.
I’m just wondering if anyone has had a similar experience or has heard of one, or knows what can be done to fix it. My idea was to maybe replace the Daughter Board?
