30M Lonely dad in need of friends

Good morning world! As the title says, I’m a lonely dad who could really use a friend.

Idk what it is about life that isolation becomes the normal thing. I swear, 10 years ago I had friends, and then over the years people faded out. I’m sure I did the same to others on accident, but now that every hour is either work or talking to a toddler, I wish I had some adult I could just chat with.

I don’t think I really changed as a person, but even when I put myself out there in real life, I think everyone is so preoccupied.

So today I woke up deciding to make a change. I decided to join Reddit after I heard a coworker talking about making friends on her and give it a shot.

I like to read and run. I play video games sometimes. I don’t watch too much tv or movies. Sometimes just let my brain melt away with YouTube.

Nothing special, but I’ll be a good and honest friend if you give me a shot.
