Not trying to offend but is sinking cones not normal everywhere?

I live in Australia, sinking cones is like a culture. Recently I found out that (mainly foreign people) don't sink the cone but they take multiple hits. Is this a widespread thing that alot of people do? Or is sinking cones not the norm. Also of Ur worried about packing it again being annoying just pack 1 big cone and inhale it all. I'm a relatively new smoker and I can inhale it no problem so idk if I'm just superman or if alot of people genuinely can't handle alot of smoke.
