What’s something weird you believed as a kid that now makes you laugh?

I was convinced the moon followed our car because it was in love with us. I’d wave at it and feel really special, like we had some kind of magical bond. One time I cried because it disappeared behind clouds - I thought it was mad at me. My parents played along, which did not help me lose that belief. It wasn't until I was an adult explaining the moon to my own kids that I realized how silly (and sweet) I was as a kid.

Did anyone else assign personalities to planets or stars as a kid?
