Bag Checking

Its been a while since I’ve attended worship service and I’m well aware that phones aren’t allowed, so for the first time in a while I attended. the scans who check the bags said “paiwan po cellphone” knowing well that I didn’t bring one I kept walking straight to go in but, the female scan suddenly said “icheck po bag ma’am” without even letting me stop walking she suddenly grabbed my bag and starting feeling it to make sure I didn’t have a phone and I had to explain to her that I only had my wallet. Trying to take someone’s phone is already problematic but the fact that she couldn’t even let me stop and show her my bag myself is just worse. This incident is another reason why my decision to step away from the church is something I deem correct.
