What did your ortho say about chewies?

My orthodontist told me to use them only during the first two days of each new tray, twice a day (morning and night) for about 2 minutes. I’ve noticed the aligners do fit better after those first two days, but I’m wondering if using chewies more often help speed up the results or improve the fit even more?
