Do all cuticles have that super thin layer underneath? Am I supposed to push that back too? Or is that literally my eponychium? 😬
When I push back my cuticles, there’s this v v thin layer of (what I assume is) more cuticle.
Usually, it matches the shape of the rest of the cuticle before pushed back. Aaaand… I’m actually wondering if that’s the eponychium. I wish I could attach a picture but I have STUPIDLY trimmed it all off.
My cuticles aren’t in bad condition when they regrow, but… my overall nail health doesn’t seem to be improving much.
I’m about to switch to a cuticle/dead skin dissolver, having read it’s better for nail health. But going forward… Do I just leave that little layer completely alone?😅
Thank you.
