Endless Mode should include Grand Encounters? (Abom, Firewall)

Am I the only one who thinks that the encounters add to the game and make endless much more fun/interesting? Without it, endless is a little more bland and encountering only search lights is boring (if not only regular rooms). It would make the Endless experience easier to tolerate and much more enjoyable?

And is there a reason lore wise or technically for why the encounters are getting removed from the mode other than that they weren't supposed to be there in the first place?
