The Ancestors of the Sprunkis

I know it sounds like an Unpopular Opinion in this community. But have you ever been into Paleontology? Are you into History about Nature? Learning about your favorite Dinosaurs such as the T-rex by the Fossils? Or how did Caveman turn into Modern Humans like Us?

Well. Here is a Theory to you guys. Ever wonder if you could Trace the Ancestors of the modern Sprunkis and how did they become Sapient beings like us? There is also this Theory about why the Sprunkis canonically do not have legs? If there were creatures (Usually non-sapient) living in this world that had 4 limbs (Such as Tetrapods) or had extra legs (Example: Arthropods). This means that the Ancestors of various Sprunkis at one point lost their hind legs through evolution.

And speaking of losing a limb. If Sprunkis still retain their fore limbs (Which we call arms). Have you wonder if there are fossils of those ancestors and see the bone structure like how the bones of their hind legs shrink overtime as they evolve to become more Sapient. Are there any living Sprunkis who at least still have leftover bones of hind legs like some whales in real life, or they disappear completely.

Now, let's get the picture to this. Losing hind legs through evolution sounds like a disadvantage, especially in a Terrestrial landscape as it is much harder to move around and won't work well for survivability and passing on their genes to thrive. However, similar how early humans evolve large complex brains and multitask on strategies on survival. These sprunki ancestors figure how to thrive in this world in a similar pattern as more started to lose their hind legs overtime to move around so they figure out by hopping or sliding or anything else you want to call. They even use and recently invented Instruments as one of their MOST powerful Tool to further thrive in this world.

This could likely be the reason to this. I mean, it is hard to know their deep history as there are very little information about that. But hey, that's just a Theory to point out. Hope we could dive more into the lore.

And oh. What if I told you there were various Sapient Sprunkis who have evolved in a convergent way with their own civilization and culture in history. Ever wonder why many of the 20 main Sprunkis don't look like the same species to each other. Well, that is a similar case in many Mythologies such as the Giants, Elves, Drawfs, Orcs, Goblins, Merfolk, Etc who have evolved and share any traits similar to Humans despite sharing not sharing the same Lineage. This is the same thing to those Sapient beings in the Sprunki World and were unlikely friendly and highly territorial at that point and possibly engage in Wars similar to many historical events in our World. Only for them to unite and have enough respect with the other beings with all of their hearts, even if they are not closely related by blood. And this goes on and on until we have the sprunkis we know and love.
