Software Engineer Career Pivot?

Hi All,

The closer I approach my 40's the less I see myself coding full time. I don't really want to be senior and I don't want to be a Project Manager. I've got a wide background from electrical design, automation (robotics), to mobile app developments since covid.

I'm just at the point in life where I'm not really sure where I want to go next. I seem to always get to a point where 'I've done this now the next thing.'

Has anyone changed career path from Software Engineering to something else? Just wondering what to do next. I don't see myself going back to software if I leave it, I don't really want to go into sales either.

Thanks in Advance
