Lacking human emphaty and expressing emotions

I have come to reflect on this. During 3 years, I never saw her cry once. Even her family told me "actually now that you mention it, I don't think I have ever seen her cry, ever".

She would sonetimes tell me that she was sad if coming across some bad personal news, for example that someone she knew died in a crash, but then just moved on some hour later like nothing happened.

Is she just a master of suppressing emotions and having to look strong? Other things which has come up is that she has said she has more "masculine energy" as a trait, as in, being the provider for her family, super duper independent, not being sensitive etc.

She said she's comfortable when her friends cry in front of her, or sharing a struggle. She told me that it makes her feel like "what should I do?" and generally discomfort.

Anyone can relate to this?
