How can I give a nib more feedback?
I find that I like a bit of feedback in my pens, and while in the past I've wanted to make them smoother (sometimes via 12000 grit and patience), I am now interested to know if there is an easy way to make them a tiny bit rougher.
Jokes aside ("slam the nib into a table"), I am wondering if there is a way to add feedback to a nib. Related, I'm curious about a few things:
-
Is there a term for feedback that's not caused by actual problems, i.e. misaligned or bent tines?
-
What actually gives the feeling of feedback that i.e Sailor is known for?
If anyone has knowledge and experience with this, I'd love to learn.
