[Recommendation] looking for 38mm dress watches

Im new to watches and Im looking to buy my first automatic watch. I have small wrists, a bit over 6inch, so preferably a case diameter around 38mm. I like classic looking dress watches with a leather strap and a light dial. Not too fond of roman numerals though. I have a budget of max 1000eur.

The seiko and certina are both 40mm so they might be too big. The bambino has the right size but may be a bit too "plain". I know i should try them out in store but i have a 2 year old so very limited time. I feel like i already looked into every major brand within my pricerange but maybe im missing something. It seems very hard to find a 38mm dress watch so I would appreciate any suggestions you might have.
