Upgrading to galaxy series

After 6 years of using an Oppo A5 2020 I've decided to look into purchasing a galaxy phone. I'm looking at the S24 and S25 series and am looking at either the S24 Ultra or S25+ (Don't like how small the base model is) as they are similar price around my area and am wondering what one would be better for someone who doesn't plan to upgrade often. If there are any better options than that would be much appreciated as I was thinking about waiting for the S25 Ultra to go down in price maybe.
