LiveProfessor with DVS

Hey All,

Just looking for some opinions. I’m in the processes of building somewhat of a plugin server to use on gigs.

The plan is to use an old M1 Pro Macbook Pro with 16gb of ram and LiveProfessor

I have heard plenty of good things about LiveProfessor, but wanted to get some opinions on using Dante Virtual Soundcard, on the 4ms latency option, to transport the audio.

Now I know it may be getting on the upper end of being suitable for foldbacks, but is the 4ms option good enough for FOH applications?

And what is stability like? especially with DVS.

I know the ideal option is to get a dedicated interface like the RME Dante Interface, but I don’t have that kind of money to drop on that just yet.. Maybe if the test run goes well!
