negative people in this game are so boring

Discussion

I hate it when a new DLC is about to release, not because I think it's gonna suck, but because I know the community will go insane about how terrible they think it is.

I don't want to have to ALWAYS go on r/LowSodiumDestiny just to not see the constant doomer posts about how the game is dying and all these 'former players' commenting CONSTANTLY how they aren't returning (yet they still are active on this damn subreddit).

It's actually so weird how this subreddit is now a place to just vent frustrations about Bungie instead of talking about the game. I have genuinely not seen a recent post that has been upvoted well that isn't "Destiny 2 is DONE!", or, "This is it guardians, it's been a nice run... this DLC is gonna be the death of Destiny."

Like Datto said, it is REALLY HARD playing this game when all I see on community spaces is the constant negative aura around new DLC releases. The game is dying because of you guys! You are actively contributing to the fire that Bungie started by constantly being negative! New players don't want to play because of the people in the community who are saying how the game is dead, and then it just goes into an endless cycle of potential players saying how it's dead and don't invest time in it and then the cycle goes on and on and on....

And no, I am not defending the DCV or the billion dollar company or whatever else people like to throw onto normal enjoyers of the game who just DON'T like to see this much negativity about a DLC that... hasn't even released. I just want the community spaces to be a place of not complete negativity, and simply a balance of the good and the bad.
