Let's be neighbors. The good, fun kind. Not the kind that are always trying to one-up eachother. Not the kind that are sticklers for silly HOA rules. No. I want the kind of neighbor that is kind, thoughtful, looks out for me and my place. The kind who offers a warm smile and friendly word every time we run into one another. You know, the one we always wanted.

But maybe things can be a little more fun than that. Maybe there's a little something to those warm smiles. An extra beat to the way our eyes longer on one another. A tacit agreement that it's OK to let our eyes scan over eachother as we catch up after we both get back from different gyms at the same time early in the morning, or late in the afternoons.

Maybe there's a quiet afternoon where we're both on our own for a while. Where we find ourselves together, wherever, and with nothing but the quiet freedom to give into what we're both aching for. Maybe it can be out on one of our back patios, or in the privacy of one of our bedrooms or living rooms. We've got options!

But let's keep this lighthearted, shall we? Focus on making eachother feel good. Really good. We can leave force, violence, and some of that other stuff at the door.
