TYPE A OR OMS

So my birth is in maharashtra Graduation also from maharashtra The only thing is that my schooling is from a maharashtra bordering city in UT of DNH AND DD the thing is someone who was also giving cet said that if you fill out type a maharashtra in schooling my city name also shows up.

Since my city has both state boards of maharashtra and gujrat schools So can I choose type a or is this a system issue since it might slightly benefit me in cap rounds (Open Category)
