Btech biotechnology scope in India? Please help

What is the scope for btech biotech in India? I'm aware that there isn't much scope, but still. Whag are the best colleges? Besides IITs and NITs? Also how hard is it to get into NITs and all for btech biotech? I'm a pcmb student, neet aspirant but looking for a second option. Im not particularly strong in physics and maths, I've only done board level (cbse) maths. Is there any hope for me? 😭
