Varying death grip degree & particular carts
Alright so I noticed that some sfc games are really and I mean REALLY hard to jam down the connector slot. Others arent. For example japanese Yoshis Island is an sob to insert. Noticed that even some connector pins got pushed out when I removed cart (used the side first out trick, but did some dmg to pins anyway) but others like chrono trigger or ff6 work just fine. Panicked a bit about connector malfunctioning after but thankfully it was fine.
Why is that? My guess is that I got a cart that hasnt seen much use and therefore might not be slim as others frequently inserted and removed carts.
Is there a way to make the cart PCB thinner somehow (just spitballing here), like sandpapering it down fraction of a millimeter? I dont want to put my connector through this again, as AFAIK there are no spare parts that can be bought and replaced (unsure about last part).
Perhaps you folks that had same issue could point me in right direction.
Thanks in advance!
