Travel with toddler - recommendations?

Hello all,

We’ve done two road trips - one out east (Canada) one to the states (Vermont), and one trip out west (four hour flight) with our toddler in May. Next year he’ll be two and I really want to travel further, like Europe.

I’m an adept traveler but obviously my toddler is not lol

Does anyone have any recommendations for countries that are more kid friendly / easy going? I was originally considering going to a resort down south or something but I was reading it’s easier to do more touristy vacations with toddlers than relaxation vacations because you won’t actually be able to relax lol
