Lordt help me

Vent

I work 12 hours days in a mental health crisis position. Today is day 4 of 5.

I go to bed and get up before everyone and this morning I woke up to a GIANT poo and copious amounts of toilet paper in a toilet that won't flush. SS12 was up late after everyone went to bed so I know it's his turd.

I stomp to the bedroom and let SO know the situation. He mumbles something about the plunger (we don't have one) and I said "I'm not plunging that". He gets up and starts looking around in the basement for a plunger, muttering about thinking we had one...we don't. He figures it out and is able to flush but damn if the bowl isn't full of shituational smears.

I just...I'm not dealing with your kids turds.

Then I am greeted by an absolute mountain of dishes that have accumulated over the days I've been working. I find a tiny space to do my morning caffeine/supplement/get ready for work routine. And I'm gluten intolerant and there breadcrumbs everywhere. There's always breadcrumbs everywhere. And then for the encore, all the blankets I put on my couch to protect it are disheveled and crumby/dirty.

JFC. I'm over the disgusting house habits of these kids and my SO. All of us are neurodivergent and I'm the only one that's medicated and managed and I feel like I'm losing the plot sometimes. I have tried hard talks, chores charts, and post it notes and at this point it's a hygiene problem. I'm so grossed out. I think I'm starting to plan my exit. None of this is worth the stress and impact on my mental health.
