Odds of success?
I have medical records during active duty for my last 3 years of service that show chronic back and hip pain. I have private medical records after service for years showing chronic back pain. I have been going to the VA pain management and physical therapy that diagnosed my back issues with radiculopothy and recently had injections in my back. I am hopefully getting a nexus from my private family doctor. It’s been a couple of weeks. I have been told I have enough to file without the letter, but it wouldn’t hurt. I already filed an intent to file last month. My biggest hurdle is I got out in 1995. I have records of an injury while in service, continuing records after service, treatment and diagnosis from VA doctors and a referral to a neurosurgeon for possible surgery. And hopefully a nexus. I am sure I will get a C&P exam.
