Would a change in pay scale have any effect on federal time?

I’m a current fed with 15 years. 13 of those years, I have been on the GS pay scale. A few days ago, I sent my resume for an NH (AcqDemo?) pay scale job. I’m just thinking ahead, if I were to be selected, no new probationary period right?
