Anyone had any success from getting elected officials involved?
Filled out a form on our senator's website, they had me sign a privacy act statement.
This is regarding a couple of claims that I feel were handled with incompetence. (Basic facts: filed as secondary, they ignored the secondary theory and denied because it hadn't happened in service... on the appeal they evaluated as secondary to a different condition I hadn't claimed, and denied again.)
Wondering if anyone has had any success in getting things done by escalating in this way? Just tired of having claims denied because they didn't bother to evaluate it properly, then I have to spend several more months appealing.
