New Ally tomorrow - Right to SteamOS?

Usb is setup and ready. I don't really have an interest in windows right now.

I don't see any see anything specfic to do with windows (other than disable bitlocker). Is there a recommendation that needs to be done in Windows that will improve the SteamOS experience?

Should I at least update the bios first?
