need advice

I need advice on how to move on from an emotionally unavailable man. I cared deeply for him, but he was distant and never fully opened up. I recently told him I needed space, and said he needed the same without hesitation. That really hurt. I’m struggling to let go, even though I know I deserve someone emotionally present. How do I heal?
