Pixie cuts without styling?

I have wanted to get a pixie cut for years, but every time I make up my mind about really getting one I chicken out, because I never style my hair and I am told short hair requires some styling.

Does anyone know of reference pictures how pixie cuts look like of you don't style them or do minimum effort styling (1-2 minutes)? I would also appreciate anyone sharing their experience with a pixie cut, what happens if you just shower and let it air-dry or wake up in the morning and don't do anything with the hair? Thanks for your help! P.S.: My hair is very thick and tends to get frizzy.
