Repotted an overwatered Thai Constellation, need advice please!
I purchased a Thai Constellation monstera from Walmart on July 3. It, and its fellow monstera, were DROWNING. One had so much water in the decorative catch pot, it was coming up through the draining pot and 2 baby leaves were already yellowed.
I just repotted mine a few hours ago. The roots had a little rot, pretty easy to clean up. The biggest issue was how cramped the roots were - there was almost no soil left, it was nearly all root. Had to cut the nursery pot open to free all the roots growing out through the bottom
So, now it's in appropriately chunky/draining medium (orchid bark/perlite/soil), in a larger pot (not huge). The medium is fairly dry.
When should I give it water again? I can provide pictures of the leaves if needed.
-Last watering was July 3 (a the store, before I got it)
-It was very overwatered, with minimal root rot
-It was very rootbound
-It is now in appropriate, but rather dry, medium
I'm new to monsteras, so thank you in advance for your help.
