Riding Horses

Sorry y’all I know this is unrelated to all the rain happening.

I’m just inquiring about ranches/people who might see this post that are willing to teach me how to ride horses in exchange for some free labor/cleaning 1-3 times a week. I want to get into ranching, I have about 4 years of farm/conservation/agricultural labor experience, but none with livestock and riding, and it seems basically impossible to land a job without basic riding and/or roping knowledge.

I’ve been contacting many ranches around the Austin area and posting ads on Craigslist etc. Figured it wouldn’t hurt to try a post here.

I’m 23, a dude, and in school part time, trying to grow my skill set. If anybody could point me in a helpful direction it would be much appreciated! Stay dry :)
