[TOMT][SCENE] guy says “i think we had a good time, we should do it again,” she rejects him, he lashes out and calls her a bitch...street scene, nighttime, modern film or show
so i saw this scene a long time ago probably from a reel on instagram and it’s been stuck in my head for over a year. i don’t have the clip anymore but the dialogue and vibe are burned into my memory. i’m hoping someone here can help me finally put a name to it
it’s at a street at night maybe after a date. there’s a sense of awkward stillness. the guy turns to the girl and says something like “i think we had a good time we should do this again sometime” clearly trying to connect or take things further. the girl shuts him down. her tone isn’t cruel just blunt. she says something like “no i don’t really see it that way” or “i don’t think it meant the same thing to me” something in that territory. he’s clearly thrown off and caught off guard and his reaction shifts from disappointment to bitterness really quickly. he kind of just snaps and says “thanks for nothing” and somewhere in there either in that same breath or right after he calls her a bitch. a stuck up bitch or something like that. it’s not shouted but it lands hard. then he walks away leaving her in the middle of the street. you can tell he feels used or humiliated and he lashes out in this raw emotionally cornered way. its not thattt dramatic or theatrical... just wounded and pissed off. she stands there while he storms off. the whole thing is maybe under a minute but it hits kinda harddd
i remember thinking the scene felt recent. definitely not a 90s or early 2000s film. the color grading and pacing felt modern maybe something from the 2010s or later. it might’ve been a streaming show or a mid budget indie film. i’ve ruled out (500) days of summer and two girls and a guy. it wasn’t stylized or over the top just painfully real. the kind of scene you’d scroll past in a reel and immediately feel like you’ve been punched in the chest
if anyone recognizes this or even has a guess, i’d seriously appreciate it. this one’s been driving me insane
