So I can't just make a queue anymore?

I click one video, it plays. I click "add to queue" on a suggested video below. Instead of just putting Video 2 after Video 1, YT puts it at the bottom of some auto-generated queue with a bunch of crap I didn't ask for.

Is there any way around this?
