Archaeologists just found 1,300-year-old gold relics under a forgotten temple

This popped up in my feed apparently, archaeologists in China uncovered solid gold Buddhist relics that had been buried for over 1,000 years under a temple no one even remembered.

It’s wild how much history is still hidden underground. These relics were beautifully preserved too, which makes it even more fascinating.
