I started writing anonymous journal entries about the places I explore this one felt like it was still grieving
I’ve visited a lot of abandoned places over the years, but this one a small mountain school felt different. There wasn’t anything dramatic or dangerous. It was just… heavy. Quiet. Like something was still waiting there. I’ve started writing these visits down as “field notes,” partly as a way to reflect, and partly to honor the places that time left behind. This is the first entry: “The School That Wept” [https://open.substack.com/pub/fayelynvex/p/field-note-001-the-school-the-wept?r=5zothj&utm_medium=ios] No videos, no gear, just observations and thoughts from the experience. Would love feedback or to know if anyone else explores this way more about listening than documenting?
