hi, just made it to ultra ball 3 from ub1 just a bit after making this deck today.

if you like garchomp or find the meta boring then maybe you’ll find this deck fun (all i use is garchomp, if he wasn’t in the game i probably wouldn’t play)

just some initial thoughts after playing today is i am thinking about switching red card or lillie with either a pokemon communication or another aerodactyl

even when going first aerodactyl brings some nice pressure from the bench with his ability as you will always start with gible in your active. you also have garchomp ex one energy attack available as an option for turn 3, as well as shearing and some tankiness from normal garchomp. linear attack for the bench over annoying rocky helm and poison barb, and oricorio has never annoyed me in the time he’s been released (all i play is garchomp) charizard can one hit you but seems to have fallen out of the meta, so garchomps been breathing a little easier. and you can tank giratinas 130 attack

some tips i have so far is you kinda decide as the game goes what your win condition is and shear around that. maybe you are setting up for a late game linear attack so you shear cyrus early. maybe you think you’ll win after using mars so you shear lillie instead of using her on one of your ex. sometimes one garchomp will just be tanking as you utilize its shear ability to build up your other Pokemon. it’s just a lot of fun coming up with combos depending on the energies and cards you get, you should be shearing and thinning the deck to make the deck give you what you want. also the 2 energy 150 damage cynthia attack happens more than you think once you get the hang of it, sometimes you get it so early in the game your opponent can’t recover.

i’m just a casual player who loves garchomp, so thought i’d share this to anyone interested. at the very least this will take you out of great ball or maybe get you ten extra hourglasses this season. if i make it to master ball or not whatever, i don’t really care, we’ll see what happens. although people have made it to master ball using normal garchomp before, so tweak the deck if you’d like if you think you have a better one. or share one if you have one cause i’d like to learn about it
