Going to Nigeria, could be dangerous

So tomorrow I'm going on holiday to Nigeria, but it has a reputation of being dangerous from terrorists to kidnappers and armed criminals, it's so much so that friends have insisted on coming to our house to pray safety over us, so I'm slightly worried.
