Buyer tried to Fraud me twice — now claiming “wrong item” after saying it never arrived
First scam attempt just got resolved, and now the buyer’s back with another bogus claim. Here’s what happened:
I sold an item, shipped it properly, and tracking shows it was delivered straight to their mailbox. They open a case saying “item never arrived.” Luckily, Depop saw the tracking, ruled in my favor, and told me I don’t need to refund them.
Not even 10 minutes later, they open a new case saying it’s “the wrong item.” So which is it?? First it didn’t arrive — now suddenly they’ve got it and it’s “wrong”? It’s clear they’re just scrambling to find some excuse to get a refund.
I didn’t record myself packaging it (who records every shipment?) but I 100% sent the correct item. I’ve already explained everything to Depop and now I’m waiting on their decision again.
