Question everything and use facts as your main tools.
Very recently I came across the realization that when it comes to beliefs and facts about yourself, it is important to know how to differentiate them. Beliefs are smth imposed by context let it be through repeated input or can be at times by fact but is true that are occasions our beliefs aren't aligned with out best interest. "I'm lazy, I am not good enough, I am not capable, I am simply this way". Sounds familiar? How many of those beliefs are supported by facts? Once you put your beliefs and question them by putting facts on the table you may realize that really you are not as bad as you think you are or in fact you are not as close to be what you think in a negative way. Question where your beliefs come from, are they your thoughts or someone else's transfered to you? Are they supported by fact or by feeling? Once you take the time to be kind enough with yourself to see this with a clear lens and not with a sense of self destruction you'll realize that your only limitation is yourself and your beliefs.
On a side note, I do understand the importance of context in self development. A lot of us, me included are privileged. If you are facing hardship of any kind let it be mental, physical or of any kind I wish you nothing but the best and hope this can help ease anything you might be going through. But I also know is not a one size fits all. Is just something that helped me find a way to self confidence and inner peace after dealing with hard moments like anxiety and depression.
In my opinion all change comes with having enough kindness to yourself to allow evolution. Evolution of tought and action.
Hope this cumulus of words makes sense and resonates with you who's reading this. Thanks if you took the time, and I hope it adds smth to you. If anything I am happy to clarify.
