Competition Reality
So I'm training for the All American Kettlebell Open in NJ this fall and I'm about to sign up for flights. It is my first competition. I've been training for 10 min LC and snatch and can hit the beginner rank scores for Super Middleweight. There are 5 min LC & snatch options available, but only a 10 min snatch. The 10 min TALC in 16kg male is sold out.
What is a realistic number of events I should do in a day as a beginner? I'm thinking either (2) 5 min events, or just do the 10 min snatch. I've done other fitness competitions with multiple events in a day, so I'm not worried about endurance/stamina, mostly my grip/ forearm. I really wanted to do the 10 min LC, but it isn't an option unless I do lifter's choice, which doesn't sound fun if I'm not competing.
