Lovelace Card Library

I don’t know if this is ever been brought up, but have there ever been talks about developing a card library for Lovelace dashboards?

An example is all design a custom button card that I will use in a couple of dashboards. If I make a modification to the card, I have to update it in multiple places. It would be nice if cards had an entity of sorts that I could make something and use it in multiple places. When I update the card object, it updates it on any dashboard I’m using it in. Or let’s say I don’t want to use it any more, but I might in the future. That card object is sitting out there in the library, that I can just add to a dashboard.

Storing revision history of changes would be nice too.

I don’t know, maybe I’m the only one that feels like this would be use useful.
