Beginner - liquid culture

Hello, I apologize if this is a repetitive question and understand there are several recipes available. I bought some koh somui super strain and penis envy #6. They were both a mss. I put the ksss to agar and they germinated well. I did more agar transfers with them, to clean them up. I have yet to have any of the pe #6 to germinate on agar. I have shaken it up. Banged it against my palm and I do see some spores floating in the syringe. Perhaps I am being to impatient. But its been over 2 months and nothing. So I was thinking about making lc. Then adding the pe#6 to the lc and see if that will make it germinate. I am a begginner. I have just went from s2b with the ksss a few days ago. First time. Is there a better lc recipe that works better than others? I was just going to use distilled water and either add honey or corn syrop. I use corn syrop and potatoe flakes in my agar. Also if I do lc and then test the lc on agar. Does that mean the entire jar is contam free if I test a few cc's on agar? Or can there be some areas of the lc that are contaminated and some that are contam free from the same jar? Or should you also test on agar even if you have gotten some contam free samples already from the same jar? Hope this make sense.
