Branded title buyback/lemon

A 2023 Iconiq5 caught my eye recently. It is a fair price, but I noticed on the carfax it is a "buyback". It appears to be electric system related (high voltage battery). What are the downsides of buying a buyback? Does it lose the warranty, for example? Can I buy the extended warranty on such a car?
