Sometimes repeating same shit forces to open up.
I've been living in Delhi for the past 3 months. I'm 24, doing my work and hustling on the side with some creative things — writing, building stuff, trying to stay productive. But honestly, as someone who came to this city alone, it’s been mentally draining.
You wake up, do your job, smile at strangers, maybe share a few words at the chai tapri or office pantry — but deep down, there’s no one who really knows you. You walk around with a fake smile, start doubting yourself even if you're decent looking, speak well, have a good work ethic, and passion for things. The silence at the end of the day gets loud.
I know I’m not the only one. There are definitely a lot of genuine, kind, talented people — men and women — in this city feeling the same kind of loneliness. And yet, we’re all so disconnected. Why is it that in such a crowded city, it’s still so hard to truly connect?
Delhi doesn’t feel great for dating either. It often feels transactional or superficial. Still, I believe there are good people out there who want the same — real friendship, connection, maybe love — but how the hell do they even meet?
