How do you view non-Palestinians wearing different colored keffiyehs other than the traditional white with black stitches?

Discussion

So I'm a white American dude. I take part in Palestine activism and organizing. I have this style of Hirbawi keffiyeh, partially black and white with Palestine flag colors, which I wear to show support for Palestine.

I work outdoors in the sun, and breathe in a lot of dirt and dust. I've realized that for what I do, the keffiyeh is far superior to any similar western clothing accessory, since it provides extensive sun protection and can also be wrapped to cover one's face for dust protection. Currently I wear multiple bandanas and a hat, and there's still strips of exposed skin on my bald head, and I need a separate mask to protect from dust inhalation.

I'm thinking of getting another keffiyeh for working in, and then I can also be showing support for Palestine while I work. But I don't want to get a mostly white one and have it get all stained with dirt and sweat, so I'm thinking of getting a different colored one. I've looked at other Reddit threads where white people have asked about if it's okay for them to wear keffiyehs, and the answer I've seen repeatedly is to make sure it's to show solidarity and not a fashion statement. I've also heard that the white keffiyeh with a black fish net pattern is the only authentic Palestine style, but I don't know if that's true since Hirbawi's in Palestine and they sell all kinds of colors and patterns.

So I'm wondering if I get a more colorful keffiyeh, will it come off as disrespectful? I realize the one I have now is multi-colored, but it's also Palestine flag colors so I feel like it's pretty obvious what the political statement is. I'm just worried that if I get one of the more colorful ones, people might think I'm just trying to look cool/be fashionable, and what I actually want is functionality and to show solidarity. What do you think?
