Water Policy

Before you read this, please note I am not angry with the cashier, I am just appalled at the company and need to rant. This is completely insane.

I am disgusted at my experience in Starbucks today. It’s 43° with the humidex, we are in a heat wave in Toronto and I went into the nearest location to ask for the cashier to fill my water bottle or to give me a cup of water... can you imagine that the cashier told me that he can’t give me a cup of water without me buying something?I laughed thinking he was kidding. He wasn’t. He said he can sell me the cheapest item, saying its their policy.

That’s honestly disgusting ideology, the corporation should be ashamed. I don’t care what your policies are. It’s a hot day and we’re in a heat wave!! As I was leaving, I also spoke to two girls who had two dogs, and they were also denied water… how inhumane!

Starbucks should be ASHAMED of itself.

I went to Aroma around the corner and they had set up a water station outside for customers.

I won't be going to Starbucks or supporting them anymore.
