My childhood friend just blocked me..

Hello everyonee i dont use reddit very much but i came here because shit is starting to get serious

So for context, i used to have a friend since i was 4 years old, and we hung out regularly and we went to the same school

We always had a fun time together, but i think the problem was me all along I was very manipulative and evil as a kid for some reason, looking back at it rlly sucks now because i am a completely different person

So sometimes i would just push narratives of hating others and i saw everything as a competition, so i always was pushing too hard to beat him in games or social stuff

It was horrible of me ngl

We lost contact like 3 or 4 years ago but recently he came back asking for advice to take this girl out for a d a t e lol

This is gonna sound weird af, but he was trying to meet someone i had a thing with in the past

I didnt see this as bad cuz he was very clear with his intentions so i just helped him out and we talked for an hour

It all seemed fine after that, and i thought things started to look a little better for us as friends or at least "people that coexist with each other"

But i sent a message asking if he wanted to talk like 2 weeks ago and he completely ignored it

Annndddd just yesterday i found out i was blocked by him Wonderful

Im not sure what to do anymore Im trying to prove im not the same person but it seems like he holds a big grudge.. i kind of dont blame him? But i also think he could give me a chance.. Do you guys think he blocked me because hes with someone i used to be with, or just because he doesnt like me anymore? Idk what to do pls help
