I'm not a golfer but I wanna get some stuff for my buddy for his birthday.

Like i said. I've never played golf in my life but my friend has been obsessed with it and bowling so I'm trying to see what I should buy him but... It's a little complicated on what to get him. I don't know brands so I'm asking you guys for recommendations for... Midrange gear like not high end stuff but not so cheap it falls apart on the first swing.
