How important are looks to you in a relationship?

Hi all - I went through a breakup a few months back and generally, I would think that he was a very attractive guy, so I'm not sure if it was personality and the situation we were that ruined the relationship but towards the end I just had the ick (we were together for 3 years).

This was my longest relationship, so I'm not sure what is normal, but my friends who have been in long relationships are still attracted to their boyfriends.

Now I am back on the dating apps (which are awful btw) and idk if I'm just being delusional but I want a guy that I think is so so hot its hard to think. I wanna be just like so insanely attracted to him - but idk if this is realistic? Am I being too picky?

I think its gotten worse because I did have a fling with a guy who was so attractive imo, and that really raised my bar for physical looks.

Also as a side note - does anyone think its even possible to meet a significant other in person anymore? I really hate the apps but idk how else to meet people anymore.
