Claude code vs web ui

I'm not a professional software engineer but like building personal projects. Especially interested in back testing certain investment ideas.

Seems like Claude Code is incredible if 1) you have the $200/mo plan and 2) code enough professionally to warrant that sort of expense.

I have the $20/mo subscription and have just been using the web UI to build code...but I can clearly see how that would run into efficiency issues at a certain point. For people who are just coding for fun, have you found a workforce in the web UI that works for you?
