Im a reseller, live in oakland where crime is kinda high and someone stole about $400 dollars from me

Hello, im pretty new to reddit so im not sure this is the correct place to post this and maybe someone could guide me to the right place. Anyways im (16m) im a small scale reseller that just needs a couple extra dollars in the pockets. Recently met up with this adult male that i have had several other interactions with, so i built some trust and he stopped by my house to pick up some shoes. We agreed on $400, after he pulled up he took the shoes and just left. Now i didnt really try to stop him, hes about 6’5 maybe 200lbs so a pretty big guy tats all around and i know hes a small time dealer so who knows what he has on him. I got his plates and through his phone number was able to find his full goverment name, most of his social medias, his address and some family members. Tried contacting his family members but im at no response. Went to the cops to give my report by like i said im in Oakland and i know theres not that much they can do. Im okay with the loss and the lesson learned but i was wondering if there was anything i can do to make sure the guy gets the consequences he deserves, or even get my money or shoes back.
